# Dianella revoluta

_**Dianella revoluta**_, commonly known as the **Black-anther Flax-lily**, **Blueberry Flax-lily** or **Spreading Flax-Lily**, is a perennial herb of the family [Asphodelaceae](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asphodelaceae), subfamily [Hemerocallidoideae](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemerocallidoideae), found across the eastern states of Australia and Tasmania.

It was first described in 1810 by Robert Brown.

This is part of the genus _[Dianella](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dianella_(plant))_. Estimates of the number of _Dianella_ species range from 20 to more than 40.
